On March 24, 2024, at East Sea Park in Danang, the 2024 Danang International Marathon, sponsored by Manulife, the main sponsor, will officially return for its 11th season. This event will introduce new running routes and provide athletes with new experiences in the coastal city.

I. Information about the Danang International Marathon

1. General Introduction

The Danang International Marathon 2024 welcomes you to one of the longest-running and largest wilderness international running events in Vietnam.

First organized in 2013, the Danang International Marathon spreads a dynamic and healthy lifestyle to the local community through the sport of running. It has also established Danang as an annual destination for sports enthusiasts in general, and running enthusiasts in particular. Every year, the event attracts thousands of domestic and international athletes to participate, conquer the marathon, and explore Danang and the Ronny Dash (1.5km) course.

2. Schedule of the Competition

Danang International Marathon is not only a journey to conquer your limits but also an exploration of the most beautiful coastal city in Vietnam. The scenic route, along with the enthusiastic support of the local people, will create unforgettable experiences at every stage of your run.

• On March 22, 2024 (Friday), the organizers will start the EXPO activities and distribute the Race Kits to participants.

• The Danang International Marathon will commence on March 23, 2024, with the Ronny Dash (1.5km) distance for children at 4:00 PM.

• On Sunday (March 24, 2024), the Marathon (42.195km), Half Marathon (21.0975km), 10km, and 5km races will take place from 3:00 AM to 7:00 PM, respectively.

4. Information about the Kit Collection

The location for the kit collection for the Danang International Marathon is at Bien Đong Park, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Son Tra District, Danang.
The operating hours are as follows:

Friday, 22.03.2024: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Saturday, 23.03.2024: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

5. Prizes

To encourage participants of all ages to engage in the running movement, the Danang International Marathon Manulife 2024 honors and awards certificates to the top-ranked athletes in different age groups who achieve the 1st position in the Marathon and Half Marathon distances. The age groups include:

Age Group: 18 - 29 years old

Age Group: 30 - 39 years old

Age Group: 40 - 49 years old

Age Group: 50 - 59 years old

Age Group: over 60 years old

Although the prize information is still being updated, the prize money in previous years has been incredibly attractive.
